  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 pound ground venison

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder

  • 1 tablespoon cumin

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • cup water

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 2 minutes. Add venison and cook until crumbly, about 8 minutes.

  2. Stir in garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
