  • 1 pound lean ground beef

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

  • 1 (14.5 ounce) package tortilla chips

  • 1 (12 ounce) jar pickled jalapeno pepper slices (Optional)

  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced black olives

  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

  • 1 cup salsa

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven’s broiler. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
