Original recipe (1X) yields 24 servings

  • 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers

  • 8 ounces blanched almonds, ground

  • 4 ounces white chocolate

  • ¼ cup tequila

  • ¼ cup orange marmalade

  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup

  • white sugar for coating

Directions

  1. Crush vanilla wafers into crumbs; combine with ground almonds.

  2. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, 1 to 3 minutes, or according to package directions.

  3. Combine tequila, orange marmalade, and light corn syrup in a blender; blend until smooth.

  4. Stir tequila mixture and melted chocolate into crumb mixture. Shape into 1-inch balls and coat with sugar. Store in refrigerator.
