Original recipe (1X) yields 1 servings

  • kosher salt, as needed

  • 1 lime wedge

  • 3 fluid ounces guava nectar

  • 1 3/4 fluid ounces tequila

  • 1 1/2 f luid ounces orange liqueur, such as Cointreau®

  • 1 fluid ounce freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup , or to taste

Directions

  1. Pour salt onto a plate. Rub lime wedge around the rim of a glass, and dip the rim of the glass in the salt.

  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add guava nectar, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and agave syrup. Close the shaker and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosted, about 30 seconds. Pour into the salted glass.
