Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 1 tablespoon curry powder

  • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin

  • teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste

Directions

  1. Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, curry powder, turmeric, onion, lemon juice, garlic salt, cumin, and cayenne in a bowl. Stir until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Cook’s Note

Make it spicy or not with cayenne pepper; I use about 1/8 teaspoon.
